And, he’s back!
Kick the tires and light the fires, baby!
Unknownst to my readers (and to me too, honestly), I decided to take a year hiatus from this site. I can’t come up with a decent excuse for not posting, so I won’t even try. Just know that I’m back in action now and don’t plan on leaving ever again.
And now, a few updates:
- Site redesign - As if you couldn’t tell. I thought characters on this color scheme stood out much better than the last one, so hopefully, it makes for an easier read. However, I migrated most of the features from the previous design over here, so everything should feel familiar.
- Updated Silverlight and JavaFX tutorials - Microsoft recently released Silverlight 2.0 Beta 2 and Sun recently released the JavaFX Preview SDK, so I decided my tutorials needed an update. Currently, all my Silverlight tutorials should work with Silverlight 2.0 Beta 2. Unfortunately, it looks like JavaFX will continue to evolve significantly even from what they released in the Preview SDK. So, I made the executive decision not to migrate some of my more advanced JavaFX tutorials. I will wait until Sun releases a more stable version of JavaFX before I do that.
- And much, much more to come - During my time away, I collected plenty of ideas about where to take the site. Over the next few weeks, I will put these ideas into action, so stay tuned for some really cool stuff.
